After college (University of Florida), I worked for the U.S. Dept. of Justice. I lived in Atlamta, Kansas City, KS (Leavenworth), Los Angeles, El Paso, TX, Baltimore, MD, Toledo, OH, Denver, CO. and then, back to Jacksonville.

Two brothers and one sister.
My father died in a car accident and my mother died several years later.
I miss both of my parents so very much.

Worked at McDonalds and then joined the Navy

A few but I would like to get to know more.

I worked for the U.S. Dept of Justice as an investigator. I traveled and relocated alot. I met alot of nice people (some bad people too.

I feel very fortunate to have a good job. I work for a company called CGI. Our national headquarters is in Cleveland, OH and our sate office is in Tampa, FL I work as a consultant for a company that contracts with HUD. I am responsible for monitoring low income properties. I help ensure that people have a decent, safe, and sanitary place to live.

I clean my swimming pool. I give my three dogs the love, care, and attention that they deserve. I try and read one book a month. I like learning about leadership (Leadership By Walking Around).

No kids and no grandkids (is it too late?).

In the Navy, I traveled alot. I have been all over the world. Every year, I try and travel to one place I've never been. This year it's Waldo, FL. No, wait wait, I've been there. I will have to pick someplace else. I's thinking about Alaska.

Gainesville, FL on a football Saturday and to church on a Sunday.

I've always wanted to travel Route 66 on a Harley. All the was from Chicago to Los Angeles. (take my time). But, I don't want to go by myself (any takers). I've always wanted to go to a baseball game at Wrigley Field. And, I've always wanted to see the house where Grace Kelly grew up in (it's in Philadelphia).

I've never looked better.
I've never made love better.
And, I've never lied better.

Seriously, I think, act, and dress young. Age is only a number. But sometime, after I've run five miles real hard, I realize that I am getting older.

I ran for Jacksonville City Council.

I care so much about the St. Johns River. We are abusing that river and we need to stop.

I care about animals. Last year, over 1,200 horses were euthanized at race tracks in America as a result of injury. That is unacceptable.

I have seen the movie Philadelphia fifty-two times.

I have never used the text feature on my cell phone.

I have never seen one episode of Desperate Housewives.

I still cry when Ol Yeller dies.

I collect baseball and football jerseys (I have about one thousand).

Football games on a Friday night. Pep rallies. The pretty girls. Graduation.

Diet coke, cold beer (Bud lite with lime)

Shania Twain, Taylor Swift, The Lovin' Spoonful, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel. And of course, Lynard Skinard

Timothy McVay, Lady Diana and, when I ran for City Council, I met some many interesting people that live in Jacksonville. It seems that everyone has a story.

I have run in every state, I have surfed in Hawaii

Talent is God given. Be Humble
Fame is Man given. Be grateful.
Conceit is Self given. Be careful.

If something is wrong, those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action.

The other line moves faster.

Close your eyes but keep your mind wide open.

Do the best you can.
Show people that you care.
And, always try and do the right thing.

Work hard, be unselfish, never give up, don’t look back and find a way to be the best in what you do.

If you think what you did yesterday is big – you haven’t done much today.
