John Bond, Jr., 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Bond, Sr. of 7407 Hennessy Road, Jacksonville, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1971, at the Presbyterian University Hospital in Pittsburgh where he had been a patient since Sept. 16. His parents are former Sayre residents. John had undergone surgery, receiving a kidney transplant from his father. He had been on a kidney dialysis machine for the past five years and had both kidneys removed in an operation at Louisville, Ky., three years ago. Surviving besides his parents are two sisters, Judy and Sally; a brother, Paul, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul McNeal of Sayre and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
