Dale was a special part of my great years at Forrest High School. I particularly remember summer school our junior year. I would pick him up (way too) early in the morning...we were always racing to get to that cold auditorium on time to study americanism vs. communism. We would laugh all the way to school and I scared him half to death as we turned corners on two wheels, screeching all the way. We lost contact after high school and I regret that. I was so sad to learn that we could never laugh together again.
