What makes you laugh?

Me, mainly. I just have to laugh at my many screw-ups!

Is there a story or event from high school that never got told? Time to tell it?

In our senior year, Bobby Jewett and I were responsible for copying the daily list of excused students on the memeo machine (remember those?). Sometime about April, we added to the list our names and the names of two senior girls, copied the list, and distributed it to the teacher mailboxes. Then, the four of us simply walked out of school and went to the beach for the day!

Still have family around?

Mom and Dad just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! They live in the same house, which is located just behind the Winn Dixie at the Cedar Hills shopping center. Mike lives in Atlanta. He has two children and one grandchild. Elaine (Adams) and Steve live down the block from mom and dad. They have two children; one is married.

What did you do right after high school?

Attended U. of Florida. Worked. Masters from UF. Then, moved to Texas to work on PhD in sociology.

Do you still talk to/see/hang out with any classmates? Who?

Not much contact with classmates. I need to change that!

What past jobs have you had and which ones have you enjoyed the most?
